No new NFL jerseys until April, cramping some Broncos fans' style
Denver Broncos fans who want to buy a team jersey could run into a small problem. Due to a contract change in the NFL, there are no new jersey orders until April.kkm
Reebok's 10-year contract to supply NFL apparel is ending and in April when Nike and several other companies will take over. That means going into this season, Reebok sent out a conservative supply.
Right now stores, like the Denver Broncos team store at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium, say they have been feeling the shortage in sizes and colors. The store has a nice supply of jerseys but as Adrian Balbin from Mesa, Ariz. found out it can be hard to find the right size. Balbin came up to Denver to visit his grandparents and watched Sunday's game with them.
"I was looking for a Tebow jersey in medium or large, but I am only finding XL," Balbin said. "I already have white Elway jersey, so I would like a blue Tebow."
The problem is mainly impacting teams that are still in the playoffs such as the Green Bay Packers.
